The principles behind the vision of Slate Restaurant Bar are to provide a quality venue enabling those working in the city to get away from the everyday.

Whether it be to dine with colleagues or enjoy a couple of drinks with friends, with two dining rooms and three terraces you are bound to find the right atmosphere.

Our rooftop terrace, which is covered and heated, will ensure the ideal alfresco dining or drinking experience all year round.

The owners bring 30 years of experience in the hospitality industry to Slate and we can cater to any needs you have, from functions for 200 to a quiet dinner for two.

We have appointed David Maclean as Executive Chef. David trained under luminaries in the culinary world such as Marco Pierre White in London. He then took his skills across to Hong Kong where he cut his teeth on Asian cuisine with the Maxim Group and then, later on, ventured into the Atlantic group's kitchen as their head chef.
